Where does the money go?
God in Action is a community-led initiative dedicated to transforming lives through education, sustainable farming, and the provision of safe homes for orphans and vulnerable children. We believe in planting strong foundations and creating opportunities for long-term change—helping every child not just survive, but truly thrive.

Education: Access and Opportunity
For many children in Uganda, going to school is a dream just out of reach. God In Action Uganda is working to change that by providing access to education for children who would otherwise be left behind. We focus on onboarding children into the school system, covering enrolment fees, purchasing school uniforms, bags, shoes, and essential learning materials such as books and stationery. We also create pathways to additional educational opportunities, including skills development, tutoring, and mentorship programs. Our goal is to ensure every child we support has the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Farming: Building Sustainable Livelihoods
Through sustainable farming, we empower families to become self-reliant and food secure. Our programs offer hands-on training in modern, eco-friendly farming techniques, along with access to tools, seeds, and livestock. By supporting family farms and local cooperatives, we help communities generate income, improve nutrition, and strengthen resilience. These efforts build long-term sustainability, supporting not only families but entire villages.
Homes: Safe Shelter for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
At the core of our work is a commitment to providing a safe, loving environment for the 101 orphans and vulnerable children we currently support. We are building secure, permanent homes where children can grow up with dignity, care, and stability. Each home is designed to offer more than just shelter—it provides a nurturing family-style setting, access to healthcare, education, and emotional support. These homes give children the stability they need to heal, grow, and dream of a brighter future.
